In addition to panels, trim and accessories, we also offer a variety of sub-structural steel framing members. We offer red iron in both red-oxide and bare galvanized in gauges 12, 14 and 16. All purlins can be manufactured in LGSI sections and with custom punch patterns.
Red Iron metal purlins and girts include channels, eave struts, zees, cees, angles. Zees and Cees are also referred to as Z purlins (or zed purlins) and C purlins. Red iron oxide is a thin coating applied to the metal to help prevent rust.
